Welcome to the marketplace, which is in the Abbot Hall on the second floor of the museum. It is filled with vendors offering everything from yarn and books to other products related to knitting, crochet and spinning. You will be able to buy: Yarn in all colours and qualities.
Books on knitting, spinning, crochet and textile crafts. Textile figures made of yarn. Knitted jewellery. Various accessories for both beginners and experienced craftsmen
We will present the vendors as the registrations come in - keep an eye out! Here you can see who has signed up so far.

Wool craze
Snart är den klar, Ulldilles bok.
More wool for the people – en bok om svensk ull.
Med boken vill vi sprida kunskap om vår fantastiska ull och göra den mer känd som en miljövänlig och hållbar resurs. Svensk ull bara väntar på att komma till mer nytta, i en stor mångfald av användningsområden!
Boken är en intervjubok som också innehåller en framtidsspaning om svensk ull.
Vi har träffat ett 40-tal personer som berättar hur de arbetar med ullen, fåren och om sin passion för den närmast magiska ullfibern.
Vi som gör boken heter Pia Mattzon, författare, och Anna Sigge, frilansfotograf.
Du som besökare kan stödja tryckningen av boken genom att delta i vår crowdfundingkampanj och förköpa boken – eller boka ett eget exemplar som du betalar vid leverans. I båda fallen får du boken till nedsatt pris.

My name is Kerstin and I run Garnglädje, a cozy yarn shop in Sätila. For over 15 years I have shared my passion for yarn and knitting with our amazing customers. For me, yarn is not just a material – it's pure joy!
My love for yarn started as a child, and since then I have explored everything from knitting to spinning my own yarn, something that is close to my heart. For a time I also had my own sheep, and I learned a lot about the unique properties of wool by cutting and spinning the yarn myself.
At Garnglädje you will find a carefully selected range of yarns from brands such as Isager, Geilsk, Ullcentrum, BC-garn, Noro and Kremke. I am passionate about sustainability and always strive to offer the highest quality yarns that are made with care and without synthetic materials.

My name is Birgitta Thanell and I run the shop and silversmith “Silvra” in Kinna. I make and design my own silver jewelry.
My specialty is jewelry knitted from thin silver thread. I also work with other techniques.

My Barklind, who runs Atelje av Bark, works with hand-dyed yarn - in the traditional way with pigments from nature - and writes and designs knitting patterns for others to create through.
For My, hand knitting is true slow fashion and My wants to give all hand knitting yarn lovers an alternative to synthetic hand dyed yarns by hand dyeing with pigments from our nature.
Atelje av Bark strives to create a new generation of yarns with as low a carbon footprint as possible. By combining yarn selection and traditional plant dyeing with new methods, colors and collections are created for contemporary and future yarn crafts. The goal is to offer hand knitters the opportunity to choose carefully colored yarns and to create garments that suit both body and mind.

The weaving company
We are a craft cooperative with a shop and gallery in central Borås. We are 8 members who run the store. Our specialty is handmade needlework tools, yarn and other needlework materials. We often have craft cafes and workshops in the store.
We will bring nice dragonflies in different models and also show how to spin them and other crafts such as looping which we show at the table.

Wistas
At Wistas, we think it's important that the animals that give us the wool are doing well. That's why our yarns and cardigans only contain wool from the farm's own animals - we don't buy in any fibres. We make our own knitting packages with yarn spun from our fine Angora rabbits mixed with the fine-fibre wool from Jämtland sheep. Our ryatacks are involved and contribute to warm strong ryangora yarn for durable socks. We also took and made carded fleeces in a mixture of Jämtland and Angora wool. First class wool for spinning and second class for felting. Wistas is also a dealer of our nearest spinning coat manufacturer, Kromski, and to Rydal we bring spinning coats, cards and the like. We will bring wool so that visitors can try out both spinning robes, slivers and cards

I design and manufacture the figures and associated furniture in plywood myself with great pleasure and I am keen on details and expression.

Amanda Ljunggren
Textile artist specialising in crochet. Amanda Ljunggren launched her first collection of crocheted clothes in Vogue in 2021 and is now current with the book 'Crochet Big' (Natur&Kultur) The book contains descriptions of 16 crochet projects with a coarse crochet hook and thick yarn that are suitable for both solid crocheters and beginners.
You'll find books, crochet hooks and yarns - including wonderfully soft merino wool in bright colours.

Hamra Gård
Till spinn- och stickfesten så tar vi på HamraGård i Åsa med oss garn från våra egna ekologiska Ryafår. Garnerna passar bra att sticka eller virka i men funkar även som vävgarner. Vi har vita, svarta, och bruna garner, men växtfärgar en del själva hemma på gården till regnbågens alla färger. Allt detta och andra produkter från fåren följer med till marknaden. Hoppas vi ses där!

Emelie Björnkvists sells yarn under the Emelilyknits brand.
The yarn comes from Peru, is dyed in Hajom and is sold in Kinnaström in a brand new shop. Emelilyknit creates collections where the yarn is given context through a theme such as Amazing Space or Harvest. She has been knitting since she was a child. You are very welcome to visit Emelilyknit's yarn store in Kinnaström to buy Emelilyknit's own yarns, but also several other popular brands such as Camarose and Knitting for Olive.
If you are looking for a knitting pattern I created, such as Lusse Lelle, you can find them on Ravelry.
