Nycircusfestival Rydal is an artistic cross-border meeting place. A meeting place where everyone has a place, young and old. Circus, poetry, sound and visual arts and much more meet here.
We promise a festival full of unforgettable performing arts experiences, circus tryouts, the opportunity to make your own circus show, print cool festival garments, parkour experiences at Hundskoj, jumping bouncy castles at Rydals Herrgård and much more.
You will also get to experience fantastic and crazy circus arts from circus youth from all over Sweden and Germany.

New for this year is that the festival runs for one day with increased opening hours from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and that we charge admission to ensure a festival of the highest quality.

The festival takes place in Rydal's old spinning factory and its surroundings. Rydal's museum is our host and partner. Here you can experience the spinning hall with its unique machine park and take part in the museum's various exhibitions. You will find the Akleja handicraft shop with handmade items of the highest quality in the premises next to the museum. Rydals Herrgård, which is located across the street, takes care of the catering during the festival weekend. Here you can enjoy delicious meals, entertainment, coziness and play. This year we are also collaborating with Hundskoj and doing events on their parkour track.
