In Mark, Weaver's Day is celebrated as a tribute to the textile start that took place here in our region from the latter half of the 19th century onwards.
The Weaver's Lunch at Rydals Herrgård is a new event this year. Previously, guided bus tours through Häggådalen were the focus of the celebration, but this year's program will be about the Weaver. In her honor, THE WEAVER'S LUNCH is served at Rydals Herrgård. See below.

On Weaver's Day, May 10, we honor the weaver with a lunch inspired by her cooking. Welcome to the WEAVER'S LUNCH! A joint event between RydalsHerrgård and the publishing houses association in Sjuhärad.
Lunch is served at Rydals Herrgård from 12:00—16:00 and is subsidized in honor of the weaver by the association.
Price 50 kronor.
Registration for the lunch and payment
made directly to Rydals Herrgård no later than May 8 by Swisha 50 SEK to 123 012 47 35.

For those who wish to travel to Rydal and VÄVERSKANS LUNCH, a free bus (49 seats) will be arranged from Kinna Theatre at 1:40 p.m. The bus will return to Kinna at 4:00 p.m.
