Rydals Manor
Rydals Manor was built in 1853 as a manager's residence for Rydahls Manufaktur AB factory.
The building has been a valued meeting place for all of life's events since 1968 when it was converted into an inn.
Olof and Sara Söderberg took over Rydals Manor in April 2020 and opened the business on May 2 of the same year.
Our hope is that Rydal can become a cultural center, where Rydal's museum stands for history and Rydal's Herrgård stands for concerts and sing-along evenings. These can be arranged in the large garden and in the museum's conference rooms.
The manor is open Tuesday – Sunday and at events. On the menu we have both the Everyday Dishes and our Manor classics and a well-filled event program where you can get everything from country and opera to beautiful piano playing to our popular afternoon tea afternoons which start in September.
Feel free to book a table for both lunch and afternoon tea as well as concerts, as we are sorry if you have to turn around because it is full or you have to wait for food.
The ice cream kiosk is open every weekend until September. Feel free to take the opportunity to be in our garden with the family. We have boules and lots of other outdoor games. An ice cream or coffee between laps fits well.
