Ulldille is making a book about Swedish wool that has the working name More wool for the people<\/strong>. The book will spread knowledge about our fantastic wool and make it better known as an environmentally friendly and sustainable resource. Swedish wool is just waiting to be put to more use, in a wide variety of uses!<\/p>

We who make the book are called Pia Mattzon, author and writer, and Anna Sigge, freelance photographer.<\/p>

We are a craft cooperative with a shop and gallery in central Bor\u00e5s. We are 8 members who run the store. Our specialty is handmade needlework tools, yarn and other needlework materials. We often have craft cafes and workshops in the store.<\/p>

We will bring nice dragonflies in different models and also show how to spin them and other crafts such as looping which we show at the table.<\/p>

My crafts are knitted figures in the form of knitting shoes, angels, garden girls\/boys, elves, bus boys, dogs, etc.<\/p>

I design and manufacture the figures and associated furniture in plywood myself with great pleasure and I am keen on details and expression.<\/p>

Me and my figures participate in a few markets during the year as well as the Art and Crafts round in Mark.<\/p>

For the spinning and knitting party, we bring yarn from our own organic Ryaf\u00e5r at HamraG\u00e5rd in \u00c5sa. The yarns are suitable for knitting or crocheting, but also work as weaving yarns. We have white, black and brown yarns, but dye some ourselves at home on the farm for all the colors of the rainbow. All this and other products from the sheep are brought to the market.
